Gregory Shamus/Getty ImagesWhat better way to celebrate the Lions than with an ice cold beer. In good times and bad, (mostly bad) beer is there for Lions fans. And now a Michigan brewery just made a Detroit Lions beer.* They appropriately named it 'Same Old Lager.'
But it's all in good fun, of course. The Eastern Market Brewing Co. lager says: 'Don't set your expectations too high.' Just like with the Detroit Lions. Ouch!
But all jokes aside, the beer description reads: "This classic American lager is exactly what you’d expect. Light, crisp, and always leaves you wanting more. Just keep telling yourself 'the Next Beer, will be The Beer.'"
*Due to the use of Barry Sanders image on the can, the brewing company received a cease and desist and have since stopped production and sales of the Detroit Lions-themed lager. Boo!
