Photo: Great Move By a 7-11 in Edmonton

Everyone knows how hard this year has been for many if not all, but thankfully a 7-11 is stepping up to help those kids who don’t get a school lunch…

DES PLAINES, IL – MAY 9: A 7-Eleven store logo is visible outside a 7-Eleven store May 9, 2003 in Des Plaines, Illinois. Dallas, Texas-based 7-Eleven, Inc., the world’s largest convenience store operator, reported on May 9, 2003 total sales for April 2003 of $897.0 million, an increase of 7.4 percent over the April 2002 total of $835.5 million, the 70th consecutive monthly increase in U.S. same-store sales. Everyone knows how hard this year has been for many if not all, but thankfully a 7-11 is stepping up to help those kids who don't get a school lunch each day and are struggling to eat...

Take a look and see what this 7-11 in Edmonton is doing to help those school kids in need.

As the photo says: 711 understand that school are closed and some families relay on school for lunch meals, so 711 is stepping up by allowing all kids under 18 to come in between 11-12 each day for a free slice of pizza and a pop. Great move!

Hey It’s Ryan, let me start off by saying…YES, I was born and raised in Wixom, Michigan although a lot of listeners like to joke that I am from Arizona. WCSX has always been my radio home, I have been at the station since I was a 23-year-old intern, co-host of Big Jim’s House, married with kids. Family and radio are what I love, but don’t get me started on golf! Like some, I have become obsessed with golf and you can hear all about that on “The Ball Washer Pod” right here on WCSX. One of my other passions is helping out the Vets. Since coming to WCSX I have been apart of raising hundreds of thousands for local vet groups. Other than that, I am a goofy guy, loving life, my family and talking to you on the radio. Ryan writes about golf, family and what happens on “Big Jim’s House.”
