Some Americans have been having trouble accessing their stimulus checks. H&R Block was trending after the company’s customers tweeted complaints about not receiving their stimulus money.

The company acknowledged the issue on Monday night, tweeting, “The IRS Get My Payment website may display an account number you don’t recognize. If you took a Refund Transfer, it may be reflecting that account number. Check your 2019 return to confirm.”

H&R Block then tweeted. “But don’t worry – we have sent these payments on to the method you chose for Refund Transfer: direct deposit, check or Emerald Card. The money should be there by the end of the day.”

You can track your stimulus check on the IRS’s Get My Payment site. The New York Post reports that TurboTax customers have been experiencing a similar issue; the Post notes that customers of those companies who received their first stimulus checks via debit cards may have an issue, as it was expected that people would use the same cards they used during tax season to receive their stimulus money. But customers whose debit card accounts are closed or no longer active will see their stimulus funds returned to the IRS. The IRS will then have to send the those taxpayers a paper check, which will delay when they receive the money.
