Family Video Closing All of Their Remaining Stores

Another iconic video store is closing its doors.
Midwest-based video rental chain Family Video has announced they’ll close all of their remaining locations across the U.S. today (Jan. 6). Nationwide, Family Video more than 250 stores.
In a news release, Family Video stated they are starting to liquidate items, and stores will stay open until everything is sold.
“We are very thankful to have been able to provide entertainment for many family movie nights,” said Keith Hoogland, CEO of Highland Ventures, LTD, the company that owns Family Video.
Family Video first opened its doors in 1978.
