The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services announced the new order today (Jan. 22), stating restaurants and bars will be allowed to reopen at 25% capacity with up to 100 people.

Participating restaurants are required to have tables six feet apart with no more than six people at a table. Bars and restaurants also have a 10 p.m. curfew. Staff will be required to collect contact information from customers for contact tracing purposes.

In addition, the new order opens up concessions at casinos, movie theaters and stadiums; personal services requiring mask removal and gatherings of up to 10 people from two households.
