The Detroit Tigers are looking to play in front of real fans soon.
According to officials in Lakeland, Fla., some fans will be allowed to attend the Grapefruit League games at Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium, where the Tigers do spring training.
About 25 percent of the stadium’s capacity will be allowed to be filled, up to 2,200 fans.
Tickets will be available in pods of two or four seats, with pods being separated by at least six feet.
Masks will be required for all attendees.
The Tigers have an exhibition game in Lakeland scheduled on Feb. 26 against Southeastern University.
The Tigers haven’t started selling tickets online yet. For information, contact the ticket office at (863) 686-8075 or springtraining@tigers.com.
