House Bill 4255 was introduced this week by GOP state representatives Tommy Brann of Wyoming and Steve Johnson of Allegan County. This short bill would permit businesses and their employees to refuse to serve alcohol to a customer who reveals that they are pregnant.
House Bill 4232 was also introduced this week, this bill by Republican State Representative Michele Hoitenga of Cadillac. It would change the existing liquor control code, lowering the minimum age to serve or sell alcohol from 18 years to 17 years.
