Secretary of State Services Temporarily Unavailable This Week
The Secretary of State is installing a technology update this week, and therefore will be temporarily unavailable.
Online services, self-service stations and branch office appointments and booking will be unavailable
From 5 p.m. Thursday, March 11, until 9 a.m. Tuesday, March 16, online services, self-service stations and branch office appointments and booking will not be available.
The good news is that the upgrade, which starts March 16, will allow for new online services for Michigan residents and enable self-service stations to include many driver’s license and state ID transactions.
Those with questions about the upgrade or new online services may reach the Secretary of State’s Office at 1-888-767-6424 or visit their website.
Anne Erickson started her radio career shortly after graduating from Michigan State University and has worked on-air in Detroit, Flint, Toledo, Lansing and beyond. As someone who absolutely loves rock, metal and alt music, she instantly fell in love with radio and hasn’t looked back. When she’s not working, Anne makes her own music with her band, Upon Wings, and she also loves cheering on her favorite Detroit and Michigan sports teams, especially Lions and MSU football. Anne is also an award-winning journalist, and her byline has run in a variety of national publications. You can also hear her weekends on WRIF.
