“I’m a Man” was the final Spencer Davis Group release to feature Steve Winwood, who left to form the rock band Traffic. The song was originally written for a documentary called Swinging London, but the Spencer Davis Group liked it so much they used it for a single. The song charted #9 in the UK and #10 in the US.
