Blockbuster might seem like a thing of the past, but there’s so much comfort and nostalgia behind the brand, that it just lives on.
Now, Detroit’s Free Blockbuster box in Eastern Market is open and ready for business.
Detroit-area video producer Jim Toscano is to thank for the Free Blockbuster box.
The outside of the box states, “Take a movie, leave a movie.” And the concept is that simple.
The box, which is located at 2468 Riopelle St., Detroit, opened last week. Since then, it’s received a wide range of DVDs and VHS tapes.
