Detroit's Keegan-Michael Key will host Saturday Night Live for the first time on May 15.

It's a big moment for Key, who is hugely popular on sketch comedy shows Key & Peele and Mad TV and beyond.

Key will host the episode, and "Drivers License" singer Olivia Rodrigo will serve as the musical guest.

Key graduated from he Shrine Catholic High School and University of Detroit Mercy. He scored his early comedy stints as the former Second City Detroit.

Key says hosting SNL is something of a dream.

"Dreams do come true," he tweeted regarding the news.

Elon Musk will serve as the host on SNL this weekend, and many don't seem to happy about it. Just check out the comments in the tweet below.
