USPS Holding Drive-Through Job Fairs in Detroit This Week

The U.S. Postal Service is hosting drive-through job fairs in the Detroit area this week.
The first job fair takes place at College Park Station in Detroit Tuesday (May 11) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The location is 20501 Livernois.
The second job fair is set for Thursday (May 13) at the Southfield Post Office from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The location is 22200 W. 11 Mile Rd.
USPS state they have immediate openings for city carrier assistants. Starting pay is $18.01 per hour.
To qualify to get hired, you must qualify on the assessment test and performance test, plus have a current driver’s license with at least two years of a good driving record.
Here are additional requirements for applicants:
- Must be 18 years of age or High School graduate.
- Must be US Citizen or have permanent resident alien status.
- Must pass a background check, drug test and pre-employment medical assessment.
- Must reside within daily commuting distance of the position.
