This one hits close to home for the show and any help is greatly appreciate, here is the information on the Go-Fundme…
Eve’s story.
In December of 2020, after battling Covid at Thanksgiving, Eve thought some of the pain and discomfort she was feeling may have been the result of having Covid. She made an appointment to have it checked out.
After a series of tests, the results were not what she had expected to hear. Eve was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Cancer, a large mass on the head of her pancreas. With a team of highly skilled Doctors and Surgeons from Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, a plan was set.
On April 26th she had very invasive and intense surgery known as the Whipple Procedure. Doctors were able to remove the cancer from her body, but in the process other organs had to be removed, or reconstructed, in order to allow her body to function normally again.
Eve has a long road of recovery ahead which will include follow up appointments, possible treatments and an extended time off work.
There is a long road ahead for the Dunsmore Family. All help is extremely appreciated.
Eve’s husband Jim joined the show to talk about the fundraiser happening tomorrow night (6/18) at One Night Stans in Waterford:
