If you're planning to take part in the action, below, you'll find the complete schedule. All events take place at the Detroit Golf Club, unless otherwise indicated, and times are approximate and subject to change.

SATURDAY, JUNE 26

Practice rounds for THE JOHN SHIPPEN National Invitational – North Course

SUNDAY, JUNE 27

First Round begins for THE JOHN SHIPPEN National Invitational – North Course

Tee times going off holes 1 and 10.

Men’s event format is individual stroke play format, while women’s event is a two-person team competition. The men’s winner receives an exemption into the 2021 Rocket Mortgage Classic. The two players from the winning women’s team receives exemptions into the LPGA’s Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational, July 11-17 in Midland, Mich. Visit www.thejohnshippen.com for more information.

“COMMUNITY DAYS AT THE ROCKET MORTGAGE CLASSIC”

Events open to patrons who donated to the Faces of AREA 313 presented by Priority Health. Gates open to these patrons from 10 a.m.–6:30 p.m.

THE JOHN SHIPPEN Shoot-Out Presented by Cognizant – South Course

Individual stroke play competition contested among the four players from the second- and third-place teams in the women’s portion of THE JOHN SHIPPEN National Invitational over Holes 5-7 on the South Course. The player with the lowest aggregate score over the three-hole event earns a sponsor exemption into the LPGA’s Cognizant Founders Cup, Oct. 4-10 in West Caldwell, N.J.

Youth Golf Clinic presented by The Children’s Foundation. At tournament Driving Range (not the members’ driving range).

2021 Rocket Mortgage Classic pros expected to participate are Joseph Bramlett and Doc Redman.

Clinic provides elementary- and middle-school-aged kids an opportunity to learn golf skills, watch demonstrations of a variety of shots, and participate in skills challenge. Participating organizations include Detroit Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation, First Tee of Greater Detroit, Midnight Golf and Detroit Children’s Fund. Associate partners of this event are Crispelli’s Bakery & Pizzeria and Priority Health.

TUESDAY, JUNE 29

“Community Days at the Rocket Mortgage Classic." Events open to donating patrons who participated in the Faces of AREA 313 presented by Priority Health. Gates open to these patrons from 10 a.m.–6:30 p.m.

AREA 313 Celebrity Scramble presented by CDW. Played over Holes 14-16.

Those expected to participate include PGA TOUR stars Bryson DeChambeau, Phil Mickelson, Bubba Watson, Harold Varner III, Jason Day and Rickie Fowler -- who will each captain a four-player team – and athletes/sports celebrities Larry Fitzgerald, Barry Sanders, Tom Izzo, Lexi Thompson and Maurice Allen. Each team will also include a participant from The John Shippen National Invitational and a sponsor representative.

PGA TOUR professionals are not available for media interviews. Limited socially-distanced interviews with celebrity participants may be available immediately following the event. Participants are not obligated to do interviews, but will be encouraged to do so.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 30
