It was a massive deal to have Phil Mickelson attend this years PGA event in Detroit, but this year will also be his last time in Detroit…
The was an article published this week in the Detroit News about a 2007 incident involving Phil and a Grosse Pointe bookie.
Phil thought that the article was “very opportunistic and selfish.”
Here is Phil talking about it and also saying that he will not return to this golf tournament.

Hey It’s Ryan, let me start off by saying…YES, I was born and raised in Wixom, Michigan although a lot of listeners like to joke that I am from Arizona.
