Major Art Festival Returns to Plymouth This Weekend – And It’s Free

The 41st annual Art in the Park is back in downtown Plymouth this weekend, hosting more than 400 artists showing off a variety of diverse artwork.
The festival will also bring live music from Roots Vibrations, Zydeco Hepcats and more. One major attraction is professional hula-hooper Comet Dancer and magician and human statue George Tait appearing on Main Street.
The weekend will also offer food, drinks and family-friendly things to do, such as face painting, henna tattoos and a 40-foot LEGO display presented by the Michigan Lego User Group.
Both the festival and parking are free.
The event runs Friday, July 9 from 11 a.m.-8 p.m.; Saturday from 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; and Sunday 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
