A beloved Michigan basketball player is returning for another season.
On Tuesday (July 6), center Hunter Dickinson announced he will return to the University of Michigan for his sophomore season, withdrawing from the NBA draft.
Dickinson entered the draft in late May but maintained the option to go back to Michigan. He had until July 7 to opt to head back to college, so the news couldn't come much closer to that deadline.
Dickinson was the Big Ten Freshman of the Year and an Associated Press second-team All-American. He was a strong force on last season's Elite Eight team.
Dickinson is one of only two starters coming back from last season's lineup, with guard Eli Brooks being the other player.
