Michigan Renaissance Festival Bringing Mini-Event to Eastern Market This Weekend
The Michigan Renaissance Festival is hosting a mini-renaissance market at Eastern Market this weekend. The event, set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday (Aug. 1), will take place at Shed 5.
The mini-festival will give attendees a look at what to expect at the official Renaissance Festival later this month, such as some characters, merchants, stage performances, a knighting ceremony and live music.
Attendees can also score discounted tickets for the 2021 festival season.
The Michigan Renaissance Festival kicks off Aug. 21 and runs through Oct. 3 on weekends and Labor Day. Discount tickets are also being sold at local Kroger, Menards and Goodwill stores.
