If you're heading to the beach this weekend, make note that a selection of Michigan beaches have been closed by the state because of high bacteria levels.

As of Friday (Aug. 9), the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality has closed 10 Michigan beaches. View the full list below.

Pontiac Lake - Pontiac Recreation Area Oakland
Crooked Lake - Independence Oaks County Park Oakland
