Michigan State Parks Looking for ‘Outdoorpreneurs’ for Business Opportunities
The Michigan Department of Natural Resources is looking for “outdoorpreneurs” and has business opportunities available in camp stores, food trucks, farm activities and more.
More than 20 concessionaire opportunities are currently available at Michigan state parks, including in the Detroit area. They’re looking for concessionaire businesses to provide goods and services that the state park staff does not offer.
“You’ll find concessions, restaurants, gift shops, rental outfitters, water park operators, guide services and many other ‘outdoorpreneur’ partners,” the DNR says on its website.
Contracts last up to seven years, according to the site. For the full list of opportunities and how to apply, go here.
