Video: Local Parrot Saved
This was not your normal rescue mission for Sterling Heights firefighters…
Marie Dewey had to call for a rescue mission after her pet parrot flew past her and right out the back door last week.
Marie said she was letting the dogs out and the parrot just took off passing her and heading outside.
Firefighter Matthew Schodowski says they used a 12-foot pike pole to get Ozzie to safety.
“We’re definitely happy to have him back, he’s part of the family. right?” said Dewey.
Hey It’s Ryan, let me start off by saying…YES, I was born and raised in Wixom, Michigan although a lot of listeners like to joke that I am from Arizona.
