This is probably one of the craziest stories you'll read all week. It kind of reminds me of Tim Lambesis from As I Lay Dying's incident getting, er, caught trying to hire a hitman to get rid of his wife.

A Michigan woman from South Rockford has pleaded guilty after she allegedly used a fake website to try and hire someone to kill her former husband. Wendy Lynn Wein, 52, unknowingly used a fake website called "Rent-A-Hitman" to try to have her ex-husband murdered. Surprise! We can't make this stuff up, kids.

As Fox News reports, the woman put in a service request on the website last year stating she wanted her former husband dead because he stole money from her.

"Wein met with the detective, giving him relevant information about her ex’s habits and paid him a $200 down payment for the hit and a promise of $5,000 in total," Fox News reports.

She's in deep trouble, too, as Wein could face nine years in prison on charges of solicitation of murder and using a computer to commit a crime, according to Fox.
