Detroit-Area Lightfest to Feature 1 Million Lights for $5
The holidays are here, and the Wayne County Lightfest officially opened on Hines Drive earlier this week.
This year features a mix of the old and new, with some familiar displays back, such as the mailbox to Santa Claus. The mailbox was closed in 2020 due to the pandemic.
The light displays also feature a whopping a million lights, many of them LEDs this year.
The display runs on Hines from Merriman to Outer Drive. The dates are Nov. 19 to Dec. 31, although the event is closed on Christmas day. The cost is $5 a car.
