Beloved Michigan Venue Featured in New Kid Rock Music Video
I was checking out the new Kid Rock video the other day, and out of nowhere, I spotted footage at one of my favorite Michigan music venues. It makes sense, since Kid Rock is obviously a Michigan guy and often sings the praises of Detroit and the state, in general.
Kid Rock’s new song is called “Don’t Tell Me How To Live,” and he released track’s music video on Friday (Nov. 19). Throughout the video, you see random footage of Kid Rock and his entourage, plus footage shot at The Machine Shop in Flint. If you watch at 1:36 in the video, you see Kid Rock walking up to the famed bar at The Shop and high-fiving a random guy.
Since Kid Rock is a Detroit guy, it was a nice surprise to see a Flint venue get some love in his video! Watch it below.
