Report: Bears to Let Go of Matt Nagy Following Thanksgiving Game
It’s getting towards the end of the NFL football season, and with it comes rumors of which big coaches are coming and going from teams. I love football so much that I get sad when the season is over. It’s so short!
The Lions haven’t won a single game this season, but since Dan Campbell is a new coach, we’re sure he’ll be back for another run next year. The same can’t be said for the Bears.
The Bears have reportedly told Matt Nagy he will be let go after the Bears’ Thanksgiving Day game against the Lions. Mark Konkol from The Patch says the Bears told Nagy that he was going to be let go on Monday (Nov. 22).
If it’s true, this will mark the first time the Bears have let go of a coach midseason. Nagy was brought onto the Bears in 2018, scored their first NFC North title since 2008 and got the Coach of the Year award.
