It was a big weekend for college football, especially for Midwest football fans, as Michigan towered over Ohio State for their first win since 2011. Michigan was the underdog going into the game, ranked at No. 5. Ohio State was ranked at No. 2.
Michigan State also pulled off a victory over the weekend, beating Penn State at home, marking their 10th win for the season. So, where are Michigan and Michigan State ranked in the new polls?
Following the big win, Michigan is now at No. 3 in the USA Today Coaches Poll, moving up from the aforementioned No. 5. That’s huge. Just a few spots to No. 1, guys. Meanwhile, Michigan State is at No. 13, the same spot they were last week.
The AP Poll is even sweeter, with Michigan at No. 2, up from No. 6. Michigan State is No. 11 in the poll, up from No. 12. Georgia is No. 1 in both polls.
