Much of Michigan got its first real taste of accumulating snow over Thanksgiving weekend, and that trend will continue. It's pretty, I'll give you that, but I'm not much of a snow girl. I actually really dislike the stuff, especially driving in it.

The National Weather Service says that Michigan residents should expect more snow on Monday (Nov. 29), especially towards the evening.

Meteorologists expect light snow to move into West Michigan late Monday afternoon and evening and work its way through the rest of the state.

The Detroit area should get hit, too, "Snow quickly overspreads southeast Michigan early this evening and continues a few hours past midnight, with snow accumulation ending up between 1 and 2 inches," the NWS states.

Temperatures will stay around 30 degrees, so roads are expected to be "snow covered and slippery," according to the NWS.
