It's December, but that doesn't mean it's going to feel like it. I keep bracing for those sub-zero temperatures, but so far, lower Michigan has been pretty mild. As it turns out, things are about to get even warmer in much of Michigan.

Temperatures this time of year are usually in the mid-30s for much of Michigan, according to Weather.com. Over the next few days, they'll be higher- much higher.

Looking at Detroit, starting Friday (Dec. 10), temperatures will be in the mid-40s, and from there over the next few days, the city is even projected to hit 55 by the 16th. Grand Rapids, Lansing, Flint and much of Michigan show a similar warming trend. Get out your swimsuit!

While I'm happy about the warming trend because I hate snow, I did just plant my wildflower seeds and was supposed to do so after the ground was frozen with no chance of warming up again. So, my efforts might be futile. Time will tell, but for now, enjoy the sunshine.
