Detroit Lions Fans Are Among the Best Partiers in the NFL, Study Says
It takes something special to be a Detroit Lions fan. I grew up a fan, so no matter how bad it gets, I’m always rooting for the Lions.
As it turns out, the Detroit Lions have some of the best fans when it comes to partying and tailgating. Go us!
Bookies.com has ranked the NFL teams for the “NFL Fans That Tailgate the Most.”
“In November 2021, we surveyed 2,008 NFL fans from around the country to ask them about their tailgating habits. Teams were ranked based on how often fans of each team said they participated in tailgating,” Bookies.com states. “Fans were also asked their favorite food to eat while tailgating, number of alcoholic drinks they consume during a tailgate and how much they spend on tailgating (food, drinks, supplies, etc.). 50% of respondents were male and 50% were female. The average age of respondents was 38.”
So, where are the Lions? Detroit is ranked No. 7 on the list. Pretty good! The Buffalo Bills are No. 1. Find the full list here.
