Farmington Hills Police Department Raising Funds for Special Olympics Michigan with 2022 Polar Plunge
The Farmington Hills Police Department is getting ready for the 2022 Polar Plunge.
The department’s annual polar plunge is set for Feb. 12 at Beach Tiki Bar & Boil in Walled Lake.
The department is in need of community volunteers to join their squad, according to a press release from the department. Funds raised will benefit athletes participating in Special Olympics Michigan.
“This is another example of the Farmington Hills Police Department giving back to the community,” Police Chief Jeff King said in a statement. “We take pride in our participation in the Polar Plunge, and we hope that our residents will support the Special Olympics by participating and donating.”
