Let’s Talk About Chip, The City of the Week Mascot
With it being National Squirrel Appreciation Day, it would be nuts to not mention Chip, the City of the Week Mascot. Relatively new to the scene, Chip joined the team in October 2021. Megan Murphy, one of the amazing City of the Week crew, purchased Chip at the Whistle Stop Hobby and Toys in St. Claire Shores while filming an episode of City of the Week. Megan had this to say about Chip:
“Chip joined the City of the Week crew in October 2021. He’s a (mostly) well-behaved Chipmunk who is nuts about Rock n Roll. He enjoys checking out fun places and meeting new people. Chip has a big heart and even helped his pals- Joel, Megan, and Faryn- by doing some bell ringing for the Salvation Army.”
Megan Murphy is known for her love of animals has had her share of squirrels and other animals gather and flock to her with her Snow White like abilities. And she is one of the stars of City of the Week!
