Former Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford is heading to the Super Bowl, and he's ready.

“It’s a long time coming, you know?” Stafford said after the game. “I’ve spent a lot of years in this game in this league and loved every minute of it. I feel blessed to be able to play in this league for as long as I have. But I sure am happy for this opportunity not only for myself but for the guys in that locker room who deserve this too. And that’s what it is, it’s an opportunity to go out there and win another one.”

Stafford also gave props to his new teammates with the Rams.

“We had high expectations all year. We’ve done nothing but do everything in our power to try and meet those," Stafford said. "It’s a driven group we have in there. This game wasn’t perfect, it wasn’t easy in some spots. But we found a way to win the game and that’s what it’s all about. Just happy and proud to b a part of this group and we’ve got some more work left to do.”

It's been a year since Matthew Stafford was traded to the Los Angeles Rams, and we all knew he's do well. I mean, the Rams are a stacked team, and when you combine that with Stafford's solid skills, it's hard not to consistently win.

Last night, Stafford and the Rams beat the 49ers to claim their spot in the Super Bowl. People in Detroit and across the country are stoked for the win. Check out some reaction below! I really like what L.A. Rams placekicker Matt Gay said. It gives me goosebumps. Read on for that and more.
