Famed Chicken Restaurant Opens First Michigan Location
A new chicken restaurant is always cause for celebration, especially when it’s one that’s coming to your state for the first time. Here in Michigan, we have a ton of great chicken spots, and now, we have one more, as a popular brand is moving into the Mitten. This restaurant is especially known for its famous chicken fingers and sauce.
The restaurant chain is Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, and they’re gearing up to open their first location in Michigan. The spot is East Lansing, so it’s perfect for the Michigan State University crowd. Expect the new location to open later this year. The restaurant is expected to be at M.A.C. Avenue and East Grand River Avenue in the heart of downtown East Lansing.
“Raising Cane’s is excited to bring its ONE LOVE – quality chicken fingers – to the Lansing area in late 2022,” the company said in a statement. “We are still in the planning stages and hope to make an announcement soon on our first restaurant.”
Raising Cane’s got its start in 1996 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Today, the chain has more than 550 restaurants throughout the U.S. and Middle East, according to the restaurant’s website. “Our commitment to this concept will not allow us to compromise our quality, cut corners or clutter our menu with new products that do not fit our core menu offering,” they state on their official website. The restaurant also recently made Forbes’ list of the best companies for women to work for, according to a post on their website.
