“Michael Morbius… discover who you’re meant to be: the bad guy.” That’s how the latest trailer for Morbius starts, and we see that one of the people talking is Adrian Toomes, aka the Vulture (played by Michael Keaton), who we last saw in 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming. Later, we hear Jared Leto’s Michael Morbius saying, “I was trying to help people. But the cure… it’s a curse.”
He continues, “I have powers that can only be described as… superhuman. But there’s a cost. Now, I face a choice: to hunt and consume blood, or die.” And we see some that that curse, and that cost in the trailer, as we get a full view of Morbius in full nightmarish vampire form. Watch the trailer below. Morbius will be exclusively in theaters on April 1.
