U.S. Senate Passes Bill to Make Daylight Saving Time Permanent
Another year, and that means another Daylight Saving Time debate.
A bill that would make Daylight Saving Time permanent unanimously passed in the U.S. Senate Tuesday (March 15). Next, the bill goes to the House. If it passes, it will then hit President Biden’s desk.
The bill, called the Sunshine Protection Act, implements a repeal of the temporary period for Daylight Saving Time, providing for more sunshine year-round.
