It’s always great news when a Michigan brand goes national. Plenty of Michigan brands have expanded over the years, and for good reason- we simply have some great stuff in Michigan that needs to be shared with the world.

One success story I always think of is Biggby Coffee, which years ago started expanding across the country. Recently, a favorite local restaurant chain has announced it’s food will now be offered nationwide, which is definitely exciting news.

Olga’s, known for their incredible pita-style bread, is now available for nationwide shipping through Goldbelly. They announced the news via Facebook stating, “Olga’s Snackers, The Original Olga, Spinach and Cheese Pies and more! Check out all our selections here,” and linking to the Goldbelly website. I remember going to Olga’s at the local mall when I was a kid, and it was always a favorite spot. It’s great to see the Olga’s brand expanding across the U.S.

Because of the new partnership with online food marketplace Goldbelly, the Olga’s will now be delivering to all 50 states. “For years we’ve heard from Olga’s fans far and wide that they wanted a way to access their favorite menu items wherever they live,” Mark Schostak told Hour Detroit. He’s the executive chair of Team Schostak Family Restaurants, the Livonia-area restaurant group that owns and operates Olga’s. “Our partnership with Goldbelly allows those fans to have the Olga’s items they crave delivered to their doorstep while maintaining our standard of excellence.” Just hearing this news makes me hungry.
