How Much Marijuana Did Michigan Purchase on 4/20?
Michiganders snagged a big amount of cannabis on April 20 (4/20). It was way up from last year and 2020, according to information from the Michigan Cannabis Regulatory Agency.
Michigan CRA executive director Andrew Brisbo tweeted out details on Michigan marijuana sales for 4/20. According to Brisbo’s tweet, Michiganders purchased more than 2.3 tons of marijuana flower at Michigan retailers. General sales for marijuana flower on 4/20 in 2022 were up 242% from 4/20 in 2021. Meanwhile, 2021 sales which were up 444% over 2020.
Michigan residents bought more than $15.5 million in marijuana product from retailers, up 45% from 2021. Also, sales in 2021 were up 291% from 2020. Find specific numbers via the tweet below.
