Applications Open Soon for Detroit Small Business Grant
Comcast will award $1 million in grants to 100 small Detroit-area businesses owned by women and people of color, including Black, Indigenous, Hispanic and Asian American owners.
Detroit was one of five cities selected for the initiative, also counting Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Twin Cities. Comcast will give a $10,000 grant to 100 local businesses from the Comcast RISE Investment Fund, for a $5 million across 500 businesses.
In addition to the grants, awardees may also score creative and marketing consulting and technology upgrades.
