Saw this story about someone with 1,700 pounds of fireworks in their house:

KABC says the Azusa, California police recently evacuated a neighborhood after they found 1,700 pounds of illegal fireworks stashed in a home. Police were executing a search warrant when they found the fireworks. A bomb squad was called in to safely remove the explosives. The fireworks were taken to a secure location and could have blown up a city block. One person was detained.
