When someone says a couple is "on fire," they usually mean it's a hot couple, so the following incident certainly isn't what they mean. Newlyweds Brendan and Isabel Kiel were on the way to their reception in Holland, Michigan, when their rented Hummer limousine set on fire. Oh, did I mention the wedding party was with them in the limo, too? I've been to a lot of weddings, and in a lot of them, and nothing remotely close to this has ever happened.

It sounds like a total downer, but the couple took the whole limo on fire thing in stride. Their wedding photographer, Andi for Andi B Photography, took photos of the fire and documented the whole event as the group did their best to navigate a dangerous situation. They had to stand on the shoulder of I-96 for about an hour, which isn't safe or fun, but thankfully, everyone is totally fine.

Of course, the world took note of this incident, and Andi's footage of the limo on fire and aftermath has gone viral on social media. The couple even has photographs posting with Jamestown Township firefighters and Ottawa County sheriff’s deputies. We can't make this stuff up, kids! It actually looks like a fun time, even though I'm sure the couple wishes they had a more normal wedding day.

Check out photos and video of the incident below. Hopefully this rough incident is something the happy couple will laugh about and look back on years from now! Besides, it could have been worse. Or maybe it couldn't, but it's nice to see this couple making the best out of a rough situation. Congratulations to the happy couple, and we wish them many decades of wedded bliss- without any fires.

It's always fun to see what baby names are trending each year. I looked up my name, Anne, and discovered it's not a very popular name anymore. It's not even inside the top 100 of girls' baby names. That's a bummer, but hey, I still like my name.

Names.org has put together a list of the Most Popular Baby Names in Michigan in 2022, using Social Security Administration data on births and user interest on its website. Every year, the U.S. Social Security Administration publishes the first names from all Social Security card applications for births that have taken place in the U.S. since 1880. I would love to see what the most popular names were back in 1880. Actually, I just looked up the data via the Social Security administration, and it looks like John and Mary were the most popular names back then, which are still popular names today.

So, which baby names are the most popular in Michigan in 2022? For boys, Noah is No. 1, followed by Liam and Oliver. For girls, Amelia is No. 1, followed by Charlotte and Olivia. View the full list of the top baby names for boys and girls in Michigan for 2022 below. Note that this data, although the most recent available, did not include information from 2021 because it is not yet available.
