The Creepiest Sound-A Black Hole
NASA recently released a a video with sound of a black hole. It may be the creepiest sound I have ever heard!
Over the weekend NASA released audio at astronomers were able to pull from a black hole in the Perseus galaxy cluster. Now the sounds are amplified as you would expect. Other data was used as well to help enhance the sound.
“One of the motivations to create such data sonification is the desire to share the science with more people,” the space agency added.
This black hole in the Perseus galaxy has been under study for years after NASA noticed that gases in the black hole causes ripples that can be heard in the recordings.
Here is the video NASA released. How creepy is this sound, enhanced or not!
The misconception that there is no sound in space originates because most space is a ~vacuum, providing no way for sound waves to travel. A galaxy cluster has so much gas that we've picked up actual sound. After hearing this sound all I can think about is a horror movie! I love space and everything that comes with it including the sounds, sights and ALIENS!!
. Thankfully for us NASA has began to be wide open with their findings.
Here is one of my favorite space/alien stories out there. The craft that shot straight down into the Ocean.
Do you remember this alien story from a bit ago? I honestly use to want to be abducted. I thought it would be cool and I could finally find out that aliens are real!
