If you know our Grounds for Divorce feature, than you know how much I put my foot in my mouth. This was one of those times!

I love getting the feedback from everyone on the Grounds for Divorce, and for some reason most of you have been agreeing with me lately! This weeks Grounds for Divorce had a little of both!

Here was the question I ask "Was trying to give Finnian Pudding as his first taste of real food and good idea?"

Here is Big Jim and I talking about it:

The responses were awesome as always.

Here are some of the listener comments that were sent in!

Yeah I think the pudding would be a spoiler for everything else... not to mention dairy and food allergies ... raised 4 myself!!! Good luck

Ryan I started my son out on Cheerios soaked in whole milk next month will be 17.... Your son will be just fine
Typically when we see babies in the outpatient clinic, when they reach 4-5 months we start on baby food just to see if they have any type of allergy or any delays in chewing/swallowing!
Dairy? The sugar! Sloooooow down. We all know how excited you are for your little one to grow up and start new things. Before you know it they'll be getting older and talking back to you in no time. Listen to your doctor. -Cara
Good morning guys! My boys were nearly 10 pounds at birth. The pediatrician had us introduce rice cereal within the first two months. The boys were always hungry. Worked out great for us.
I think when it comes down to it, my wife and I will just wait until we see the doctor next and go from there. I would say if it was up to me he would be trying everything right now, but I know that would be bad parenting! lol
Again, thank you to everyone who has reached out, it is a huge help!

Hey It’s Ryan, let me start off by saying…YES, I was born and raised in Wixom, Michigan although a lot of listeners like to joke that I am from Arizona. WCSX has always been my radio home, I have been at the station since I was a 23-year-old intern, co-host of Big Jim’s House, married with kids. Family and radio are what I love, but don’t get me started on golf! Like some, I have become obsessed with golf and you can hear all about that on “The Ball Washer Pod” right here on WCSX. One of my other passions is helping out the Vets. Since coming to WCSX I have been apart of raising hundreds of thousands for local vet groups. Other than that, I am a goofy guy, loving life, my family and talking to you on the radio. Ryan writes about golf, family and what happens on “Big Jim’s House.”
