Deion Sanders is the head coach of Jackson State University's football program and yesterday he shared his rules for class!

Deion Sanders has taken a school that most people haven't heard about and instantly made them watchable. From recruiting some of the country's top players to being the cool but tough coach, Deion has made a splash in College football.

I saw this video yesterday and loved it because it took me right back to my school days and rules for being a student athlete.

Here is Deion sharing his rules for the classroom. Just a reminder, no slides!

MORE FROM DEION:

When I was in High School, we had rules but nothing like the move to college sports. In college when I went to class, our coach made us wear something that had the school logo on it.

It didn't stop there though, we also were not allowed to wear slides or flip flops or anything with an open toe.

We also were told to sit in the first 5 rows of the classroom.

The craziest part of the whole thing, there was a guy who was hired just to walk around the campus and check in on classes that had my teammates and I in them.

It took a couple of classes to get all of the rules down but trust me that these kids will remember all of coach Sanders rules!

I love this, some people may think Deion is being over the top but for most college teachers and students, they know why you are there.

I only went to my college because I got offered to play baseball there, if not I wouldn't be there.

So teachers and staff know these things and it is very easy to start off on the wrong foot with them.

Good on you Deion!

Hey It’s Ryan, let me start off by saying…YES, I was born and raised in Wixom, Michigan although a lot of listeners like to joke that I am from Arizona. WCSX has always been my radio home, I have been at the station since I was a 23-year-old intern, co-host of Big Jim’s House, married with kids. Family and radio are what I love, but don’t get me started on golf! Like some, I have become obsessed with golf and you can hear all about that on “The Ball Washer Pod” right here on WCSX. One of my other passions is helping out the Vets. Since coming to WCSX I have been apart of raising hundreds of thousands for local vet groups. Other than that, I am a goofy guy, loving life, my family and talking to you on the radio. Ryan writes about golf, family and what happens on “Big Jim’s House.”
