Stone Soup '74 Bronco

CLOSE UP 6

With over 2000 photos of Vets, the Freedom Wrap has become the main attraction of the 1974 Stone Soup Bronco. Many people are still finding their loved ones on the wrap so we thought we would provide a walk-around video for everyone to see.

It all started with an idea from Big Jim. "Why don't we wrap the Bronco in photos of Vets" At first we didn't think it was possible, then we met Gordon, Colleen and everyone else at Graphik Concepts in Farmington Hills.

Gordon and his team were able to take all of the photos and perfectly arrange them to fit the Stone Soup Bronco.

To Gordon, Colleen and everyone else, thank you!

We have had the Stone Soup Bronco out at a few events for people to check out, but now we have an up close video of the Freedom Wrap so everyone can get a good look at it!

Your next chance to see the Stone Soup Bronco and buy tickets in person will be next Tuesday 9/6. The Bronco will be at the Bill Brown Ford Collision Center in Livonia. Big Jim and Ryan will be there with Vets Returning Home between 6-8 pm.

Location for the Collision Center is:

30400 Plymouth Rd, Livonia, MI 48150

If you can't make the event, don't worry! You can buy tickets by clicking HERE or the link below.

Once again, thank you to everyone who submitted a photo for the Freedom Wrap. It has been our honor to get to know the vets and their stories!

Don't forget! We will raffle off the Stone Soup Bronco next Thursday (9/8) right here in the WCSX parking lot. The raffle will take place around 9am but Big Jim and Ryan will be broadcasting all morning. Stop by if you can or watch it live on Facebook.

Hey It’s Ryan, let me start off by saying…YES, I was born and raised in Wixom, Michigan although a lot of listeners like to joke that I am from Arizona. WCSX has always been my radio home, I have been at the station since I was a 23-year-old intern, co-host of Big Jim’s House, married with kids. Family and radio are what I love, but don’t get me started on golf! Like some, I have become obsessed with golf and you can hear all about that on “The Ball Washer Pod” right here on WCSX. One of my other passions is helping out the Vets. Since coming to WCSX I have been apart of raising hundreds of thousands for local vet groups. Other than that, I am a goofy guy, loving life, my family and talking to you on the radio. Ryan writes about golf, family and what happens on “Big Jim’s House.”
