The Lions loss Food Toss

We have returned the Lions Loss Food Toss for a second season and it’s all to help out Gleaners Food bank, We figured that last year went so well that we had to bring it back!

It all started last year, Big Jim was confident in the Lions so he put his money where his mouth is! We decided to bring it back for this season. Special thanks to Kroger and Joe over at PizzaPapalis  who constantly brings us in food for the toss.

For every Lions Loss Food Toss, Kroger will donate 500 dollars to Gleaners. As always if you would like to donate yourself, you can do so by clicking HERE!!

We choOse a famous food from the city of the team the Lions are playing. For example, they played the Philadelphia Eagles in week 1 so we got a cheesesteak from our friends at PizzaPapalis.

WEEK ONE -LIONS V. EAGLES

Big Jim had the first pick of the year and he decided to go with the Lions to win. As you all know, the Lions lost so it was Big Jim’s turn to take a Philly Cheesesteak to the face!

WEEK TWO: LIONS VS. COMMANDERS

Ryan had the Commanders and since the Lions won Ryan had to take a Cherry Pie to the face! Thank you to Ryan and everyone at Traverse City Pie in Brighton for supplying the pie.

WEEK THREE: LIONS VS. VIKINGS

Big Jim took the Lions again and lost again! Jucy Lucy here he comes!

WEEK FIVE: LIONS VS. PATRIOTS

Week five went a little different than the other weeks. Big Jim took the Lions and lost again, but told Ryan he would take the Lions the rest of the year if they switched. So Ryan accepted the bet and took the Boston Cream pie to the face!

WEEK SEVEN: LIONS VS. DALLAS

Well Big Jim took the Lions every week now. Of course they lost in Dallas so he got a nice pudding pie to the face!

Hey It’s Ryan, let me start off by saying…YES, I was born and raised in Wixom, Michigan although a lot of listeners like to joke that I am from Arizona. WCSX has always been my radio home, I have been at the station since I was a 23-year-old intern, co-host of Big Jim’s House, married with kids.
