Here's something we haven't said often as of late: A Detroit Lion has been named the NFC offensive player of the week.

Congratulations are in order for Amon-Ra St. Brown, who set Lions and NFL records during last weekend's game against the Washington Commanders.

The second-year wide receiver has been named the NFC offensive player of the week. St. Brown notched nine catches for 116 yards and two touchdowns during Detroit's game against the Commanders. He also led the Lions in rushing, with 68 yards on two carries.

During the game, he became the first NFL player to catch eight passes and score a touchdown in six straight games. Congratulations!
