There are a lot of different reason for why people lie, maybe to protect themselves or someone else. Here is a list about lying, but honestly who can trust it!

In a new survey, 42% of people say they think their LIES are convincing, and the most common ones are:  "I forgot",  "I'll do it tomorrow", and "I am listening."

Most of them are "little white lies" that are mundane or even unnecessary, because the other person may not care, or may realize it's a lie anyway.

The survey also produced a list of the 15 most common lies.  They are:

1.  "I forgot."

2.  "I'll do it tomorrow."

3.  "I am listening."

4.  "I'm busy then."

5.  "Nice to see you."

6.  "I haven't got any change."

7.  "I've got no money."

8.  "I got stuck in traffic."

9.  "Don't know what happened there."

10.  Not disclosing the ACTUAL price of something you bought.

11.  "I'm not feeling well."

12.  "I'm looking forward to seeing you."

13.  "That meal was nice."

14.  "I've got a headache."

15.  "The email went into my junk folder."

Do you still believe any of these on this list:

Overall lying is never a good thing, but I personal believe sometimes it is necessary. I honestly think little white lies are fine most of the time. You are sometimes using a white lie to protect someone from something that won't change anything. I will always teach my kid never to lie, but I'm not above saying it works from time to time!

When it comes down to it, just be as honest as possible to the people closet to you. Anyone else, screw them! I am joking everyone!

Hey It’s Ryan, let me start off by saying…YES, I was born and raised in Wixom, Michigan although a lot of listeners like to joke that I am from Arizona. WCSX has always been my radio home, I have been at the station since I was a 23-year-old intern, co-host of Big Jim’s House, married with kids. Family and radio are what I love, but don’t get me started on golf! Like some, I have become obsessed with golf and you can hear all about that on “The Ball Washer Pod” right here on WCSX. One of my other passions is helping out the Vets. Since coming to WCSX I have been apart of raising hundreds of thousands for local vet groups. Other than that, I am a goofy guy, loving life, my family and talking to you on the radio. Ryan writes about golf, family and what happens on “Big Jim’s House.”
