The Detroit Lions lost a big game on Sunday (Oct. 30), as the team took on the Miami Dolphins at Ford Field and fell 31-27. That resulted in the Lions being currently ranked the worst team in the NFL, at 1-6.
Earlier this week, some changes started taking place, and the team parted ways with defensive backs coach and pass game coordinator Aubrey Pleasant. Now, another change is happening.
The Lions have traded tight end T.J. Hockenson to the Minnesota Vikings, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Schefter tweeted the news on Tuesday. In turn, the Lions will get a second-round and fourth-round pick in 2023, a third-round pick in 2024 and a conditional fourth-round pick in 2024, according to a report from Tom Pelissero. Hockenson was the Lions' first-round pick in 2019 and drafted out of Iowa. He has 26 catches this season for 395 yards and three touchdowns.
