This poor man took to his TikTok to prove what an idiot he was during a recent grocery shopping trip.

As the man tells the story, his wife asked him to go get a few things from the grocery store. He mentioned that his wife gave him a list of seven items, this is where everything went wrong.

The guy calls himself an "idiot", and then explains why he's right.  His wife gave him a grocery list with the items numbered one through seven.  But he thought each number meant the amount of that item to buy.

Here is is talking about it:

I actually want to backup and defend this poor guy. I think his wife set him up! After all, why would she number the items? It's not like that was the order he had to walk the store in. After reading a few of the comments on TikTok, i share one of the questions. What do you think the cashier was thinking when he walked up to pay for it all?

Someone also mentioned how much money that must have been a difference of.

But honestly, what did this guy this his wife was making? Oh honey, I have a new recipe I want to try. They are called sugar, salt burgers! I must have watched this video 5 different times and each time I find myself laughing even harder.

In the end it was a funny and honest mistake that had to leave the wife dying on the floor laughing after he got home!

MORE ON HUSBANDS:

What more laughs about husbands? Here is a list I found of dumb things husbands have done. Don't worry, they are all funny!

Now time for my favorite husband video. I know this is true now that I have married a "target" wife.

Hey It’s Ryan, let me start off by saying…YES, I was born and raised in Wixom, Michigan although a lot of listeners like to joke that I am from Arizona. WCSX has always been my radio home, I have been at the station since I was a 23-year-old intern, co-host of Big Jim’s House, married with kids. Family and radio are what I love, but don’t get me started on golf! Like some, I have become obsessed with golf and you can hear all about that on “The Ball Washer Pod” right here on WCSX. One of my other passions is helping out the Vets. Since coming to WCSX I have been apart of raising hundreds of thousands for local vet groups. Other than that, I am a goofy guy, loving life, my family and talking to you on the radio. Ryan writes about golf, family and what happens on “Big Jim’s House.”
