Detroit Lions Idea? The Beers at the Munich Seahawks vs. Bucs Game Were the Size of Pitchers
It appears Munich likes to do things up big when it comes to beer. I mean, it’s in Germany. Are you surprised? Allianz Arena in Munich hosted the first regular season NFL game in Germany, with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers going up against the Seattle Seahawks. One of the most random things was spotting the huge size of beers being sold at the stadium. Check out a photo of the huge beers below.
Fans were standing around with beers in their hands, but those beers looked to be the size of pitcher. Say what? I’ll never forget when I was out with a guy and he ordered a pitcher of beer- all for himself! I’m not a beer drinker, so it was fine, but I definitely had to drive him home.
Should the Lions start selling beers that are the size of pitchers? My colleague Joe Winner down at Beasley in Florida poised that question to me. I say yes. I mean, as long as people have a designated driver, the extra beer might help when fans watch the Lions in compromising positions. Right?
The game resulted in a 21-16 win for the Buccaneers over the Seahawks. In other news, if you’re a football fan, listen to “The Squad with Anne Erickson” on Apple Podcasts HERE, Spotify HERE and below. Hit me up with your thoughts on the NFL season Facebook HERE.
